Unmercenary Healer Saint Panteleimon.  Russian Orthodox Icon.  Saint Panteleimon was martyred under the reign of Emperor Maximian around the year 305 AD. He healed a multitude of people through a combination of medicines and prayer, but always attributed these miracles to Christ, or to the effectiveness of his medicines so his own sanctity would be hidden. He refused payment thus receiving his "Unmercenary" healing title.
