Christ with unsleeping eyes.  Russian Orthodox Icon.  This icon represents Christ after the crucifixion when He seems to be sleeping but yet He sees everything. The angels are holding the sop and the spear used during the Crucifixion to pierce his side.The Virgin Mary is supplicating towards her Son and Her God.
