Theodorovskaya Mother of God, newer version.  Russian Orthodox Icon.  Saint Theodore Stratelates, an early 4th century Martyr, was closely connected to this icon which was named after him. The large #1188 icon is often given as a wedding gift, along with the matching large #1187 "Christ the Teacher newer" icon also shown on our website.
