Conversational Mother of God

Conversational Mother of God Russian Orthodox Icon. In the late 14th century a man named George in the Novgorod region had a vision of the Mother of God and Saint Nicholas of Myra. George was returning from the countryside after informing the villagers about the consecration of a new church that had been built to hold the Tikhvin Mother of God icon when he had this miraculous vision. The Mother of God was sitting on a log conversing with Saint Nicholas.
