Boris and Gleb

Saints and Passion-bearers Boris and Gleb. Russian Orthodox Icon. Saints Boris and Gleb were murdered at the instigation of their older brother, Prince Sviatopolk, who wanted the throne to himself after their father St. Vladimir, Prince of Kiev, reposed in 1015 AD.  Saints Boris and Gleb are called "Passion-bearers' because they did not resist the evil of their older brother and willingly suffered to preserve and unify the Kievan lands and the people of ancient Rus.

#431 - S (2½" x 3" on ½" wood). 
#745 - M (3½" x 4" on ⅝" wood). 
#850 - ML (5" x 6¼" on ¾" wood).
